Hey there—I’m Jessica Lercara, founder of Jessica Marie Creative.

I’m a copywriter, marketing strategist, and former medical sales rep turned creative partner for growing businesses who want more strategy, less scrambling.

But more than that? I'm someone who’s obsessed with helping business owners and teams feel less overwhelmed and more aligned—through copy that actually says something and strategy that actually does something.

I started working at 14 and quickly learned what most business owners eventually find out the hard way: every business exists to solve a problem—but without the right message, that solution can get lost in the noise.

My early career spanned sales, marketing, and leadership roles, primarily in the healthcare space. And like many entrepreneurs, I didn’t plan on starting a business—it found me.

While working as a medical sales executive for a growing startup, I noticed a gap in our marketing materials. With no in-house team to lean on, I stepped in to create the content myself—and realized I loved it. Not just the writing, but the alignment, the strategy, and the ability to shape how people connected with what we were offering.

That unexpected detour revealed my real strength: helping businesses communicate clearly, strategically, and authentically.

Eventually, I left corporate to build something on my own terms—and something that could help others do the same.

Now through Jessica Marie Creative, I partner with small businesses, executive leaders, and marketing teams that are doing too much with too little support. Whether it’s a full messaging overhaul, ongoing content execution, or high-level strategy—you get an expert who can think big and handle the details.

Marketing isn’t just about pretty graphics or perfect emails. It’s about clarity, consistency, and saying the right thing at the right time—to the right people.

What I Believe

When I’m not writing websites or mapping out email flows, you’ll find me chauffering my kids to their many sports and activities, overthinking Instagram captions, or sipping a hazelnut latte while listening to a book on Audible.

The Beach! My dream is to be able to spend weeks at a time in Hawaii. 

Sun, fun & relaxing with the people I love. Whether it's by a pool, at the lake or even better -- on the beach, I feel my best when I have daily doses of Vitamin D in my life.
